Which broadcasting network is Kang Ho Dong most likely to sign with?

According to several different authorities in the broadcasting industry, MC Kang Ho Dong is keenly reviewing offers from numerous SBS programs. A source close to the MC said, “It’s highly likely that he will sign with SBS. Nothing is set in stone quite yet, but all that’s left now is for him to sign the contract.”

Kang Ho Dong dominated headlines when it was revealed that he planned to leave KBS’s popular program, ‘1 Night 2 Days‘. Speculations ran wild over which program he would align himself with next.

jTBC is especially interested in signing Kang Ho Dong. The Director of Organization at jTBC confidently stated during an interview with NoCut News, “Yes, Kang Ho Dong will most likely sign with us.”

Word around the industry says that jTBC recruited several famous “star” producers in an attempt to land a contract with Kang Ho Dong, and that they’re currently pursuing MC Yoo Jae Suk as well.

Should they secure these two top rated popular MCs, jTBC will then be able to broadcast several successful weekend variety programs on their channel.

Other sources have expressed, “The door to the General Organizing Channel is definitely wide open for Kang Ho Dong. He may potentially even sign a new contract before the year is over, however, it’s unlikely that he will sign with ‘GOC’ immediately after he leaves ‘1N2D’. Even if he does sign with SBS and is casted on jTBC, a weekend variety program may not be possible.”

jTBC seemed to know this all too well, which is the reason why they have plans to also pursue Yoo Jae Suk for their next step.

A broadcast management personnel remarked, “Several broadcasting companies in the industry have been waiting for an opportunity like this to try and sign a contract with Kang Ho Dong. Once he signs, their next goal will be to lure in Yoo Jae Suk.”

It won’t be easy to get Yoo Jae Suk to sign a new contract, however. A source close to Yoo Jae Suk explained, “Yoo Jae Suk is cautious in making decisions, and will observe from a distance for about a year, making the commitment only if he feels completely confident in his decision.”
