Korean Film Festival to happen in Australia

In Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, the Second Korean Film Festival will be held. At Dendy Opera Quays Cinema in Sydney, the festival will be held from August 24th to August 29th and also at ACMI Cinema in Melbourne from September 10th to 13th. The film festival expanded much more in size since the first one was held in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Australia.

Thirteen feature films and 7 short films will be featured, includingJoint Security Area, Blood Brother, Earth’s Women, The Journals Of Musan, The Unjust, The Man from Nowhere, No Blood No Tears,Bedeviled, The Show Must Go On, Oki’s Movie, Shim’s Family,Bunt, and A Barefoot Dream.

The Unjust was selected to open the festival and its director Ryu Seungwan and producer Kang Hyejung are coming to visit Sydney.
