2NE1's Dara congratulates Park Taehwan on his recent win

2NE1's Dara shares the happiness of the nation, as she congratulated Olympic Swimmer Park Taehwan on his recent win. Earlier today, Dara had an interview with Star News and expressed her happiness for the Korean swimmer.

Dara was quoted saying, “Through the news footage, I saw how Park Taehwan won that gold medal. I had goosebumps, and felt so proud.“ She also added that, “When Park Taehwan won the match, as he was going up to receive his award, I was hoping that he’d wear the spiked swimming caps that I gave him before." She finishing her interview by saying, “I would want to tell him ‘Park Tae-Hwan, You Are The Best.'"

On the 26th of July, Korea's "Marine Boy" Park Taehwan won the Men's 400m Freestyle Event for the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China - beating the likes of Chinese swimmer Sun Yang and German swimmer Paul Biedermann.

Meanwhile, Dara rejoins 2NE1 as they release their other single "Ugly" which will be expected to promote in various music shows soon. Just recently,2NE1's preview for "Ugly" was aired on Mnet's "2NE1TV".
