Audio recording will be done in every meeting

Today the drafting committee of the Lokpal Bill met for the first time in New Delhi




The meeting chaired by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee was held at North Block

In every meeting audio recording will be done. On Video recording they did not agree thus every meeting there will be audio recording will be done

All the ten members agreed that India needs a good and strict lokpal.

Bhushan said that suggestions from the Indian citizens will be invited and there is possibility that a website will be created and all the discussion will be put their.

Civil society handed the copy of Jan Lokpal bill to government member’s ministers.

In Monsoon session the bill will be tabled

Next meeting of the drafting committee of the Lokpal Bill will be held on 2nd May 2011.

Its expected that from next meeting the more and more meetings will be held to complete the draft.
