Few advocates informed this to the High Court regarding this and the Hindi Daily who published those photographs in the news paper after that a division bench comprising Justice Abdul Mateen and Justice Jayshree Tiwari took cognizance and court converted it into public interest litigation as the photos had hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court has issued notices to Union external
Affairs ministry, Australian Embassy, Press Council of India and an editor of a national Hindi daily in connection with the photographs of models wearing swimsuits with graffiti of Hindu goddesses, published in a newspaper on May 6

The photographs did not hurt the sentiments of all the Hindus but only because of fear those Hindus whose sentiments did not hurt keep there mouth shuts.
As democracy is only on the paper in reality in India we got the Mobocracy.

The bench in its notice to the Union ministry of external affairs has asked it to take up the issue with its counterpart in Australia.

It has also asked the Australian Embassy to respond on the act which had hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

The court has asked the Press Council of India to explain the guidelines under which media could publish such pictures and take appropriate action if any rule had been violated.

It has asked the editor of the Hindi national daily to explain the circumstances under which such a photograph was published.

The four respondents have been given six weeks time to file their replies.

God is everywhere , God is in you, God is in me, God is in cotton and Everything is in God and God is everything so how come something can be bad.

Few days back Lisa Blue swimwear already released the statement when they come to know that few Hindu groups are angree regarding this.

Below is the statement released by Lisa Blue swimwear regarding Goddess Laxmi featuring on swimwear.

''We would like to offer an apology to anyone we may have offended and advice that the image of Goddess Lakshmi will not appear on any piece of Lisa Blue swimwear for the new season, with a halt put on all production of the new range and pieces shown on the runway from last week removed.

Lisa Blue has been born out of a love of conservation, spirituality and a respect for all people.
At no time would we ever have intended that the brand would cause offence.
The use of images of Goddess Lakshmi was not in any way a measure of calculated risk taking, simply it was a desire to celebrate different cultures and share that through our brand.''

End of statement.

Nothing is going to happen in this case.
What happened in the case of paintings we know it.
This happened in MF hussain case also. Lisa swimwear is getting free of cost marketing.
If you are angree and upset regarding that just ignore the Brand Lisa Swimwear and decide that you will never purchase Lisa swimwear its simple.
