Super Junior’s Kangin returned to the army today (12th August) after having a 5 day and 4 night break.
Kangin, who is currently serving the army under the Water Prevention team as a signalman, went on a break on August 8th. He rested at home for 5 days and 4 nights and met up with friends during his free time, especially with the Super Junior members who made a comeback with their new song “Mr. Simple” recently. It was reported that Kangin helped the members generously.
Before Kangin took a break, videos of him providing aid for flood prevention to the locals in Seoul’s downtown areas in a kind manner were uploaded on the internet. This brought lots of attention to Kangin. Part of the public witnessed how Kangin had completed the restoring job seriously while sweating and they conveyed the contentment to the rest of the public through Twitter.
An SM Entertainment spokesman expressed, “After having a 5 day, 4 night break, he already returned to the troop safely.” They also said that, “Kangin is currently living the military life healthily.”
Kangin entered the army on July 5th last year and will be discharged from the army on April 16, 2012.
