Paquito Diaz is Dead - he Died in Albay on Thursday (March 3, 2011)

The veteran actor Paquito Diaz was dead at the age of 73 on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at about 8:20 in the evening. According to reports, Paquito died in his hometown at Legaspi, Albay.

Diaz became famous for his antagonist roles in many of the classic movies during the 60s to 90s. He suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke last 2002 causing him to quit and leave in the movie and entertainment industry.

Francisco Diaz popularly known as Paquito Diaz was born on May 28, 1937. A veteran actor, comedian, action star and director. He became famous with his villain roles behind the films of the late Fernando Poe Jr. like "Walang Matigas na Tinapay sa Mainit na Kape".

Among Paquito Diaz' movie appearances were in the films like Bayadra Brothers, Kokey, Squala, Isang Kumot Tatlong Unan, Tanikala, Totoy Bato, Manong Gang, Manila Boy, Eagle Squad, Hotdog, Kumander Dante, Sa Kuko ng Agila, Kosa, Bugoy, Akyat Bahay Gang, Pakners, Misis kong Hoodloom, One Day Isang Araw, Galit sa Mundo and the like.
