AIADMK CM Jayalalithaa passed resolution against the revival of the legislative council – the upper chamber

AIADMK CM Jayalalithaa passed resolution against the revival of the
legislative council – the upper chamber

The AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu Tuesday shelved the previous DMK government’s decision to revive the state legislative council.

Few days back AIADMK CM Jayalalithaa passed resolution against the revival of the legislative council – the upper chamber

The state assembly passed a resolution against the revival of the legislative council – the upper chamber – in the absence of the DMK and Congress members.

Moving the resolution, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa said that the previous DMK government passed a resolution to revive the upper house only to give posts to the family members of former chief minister M. Karunanidhi and his supporters.

She said at that time, Karunanidhi’s son M.K. Stalin was made the deputy chief minister of the state, another son M.K. Alagiri and grand nephew Dayanidhi Maran were made union ministers and daughter Kanimozhi was made a Rajya Sabha member.

In 1986 AIADMK founder M.G. Ramachandran abolished the upper house.

Of the 28 Indian states, only Karnataka, Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir have two houses of the state legislature.

Upper house is the waste of tax payer’s money, its good decision by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa not to revive upper house.

Utility of Upper house is nothing but to accommodate the relatives and friends into government.

China and Nepal signed a military aid agreement First Time Chinese Army Chief General Chen Bingde, chief of (PLA) Visited Nepal

China and Nepal signed a military aid agreement First Time
Chinese Army Chief General Chen Bingde, chief of (PLA) Visited Nepal

Last Month that is March General Chen Bingde, chief of (PLA) visited Nepal for 3 days.
It was the first visit to Nepal by a Chinese army chief in a decade
It was the first time that China’s PLA signed a military aid agreement directly with the Nepal army, ignoring the request of Nepal’s ministry of defence that the agreement should be signed with it.

Chinese PLA chief said that in Nepal that China would not tolerate a third country coming in the way of friendship between Nepal and China.
The highest-ever military aid extended by China to Nepal of US$19.8 million

General Chen Bingde was given a warm welcome and received separately by Nepal’s president Dr Ram Baran Yadav, prime minister Jhala Nath Khanal and defence minister Bishnu Poudel.

Third Country means which nation?
I feel this was just warning to India. India should not come between the friendship of china and Nepal.

Who and How many Chinese officials visited Nepal with the Chinese Army Chief General Chen Bingde, chief of (PLA?
The 15-member Chinese military delegation included:

1.
Qiu Guohong, China’s ambassador to Nepal

2.
Wang Jianping, commander of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force (PAPF)

3.
Yang Jinshan, commander of the PLA’s Tibet Military District

4.
Qian Lihua, director-general of the foreign affairs office of China’s ministry of national defence

5.
Zhang Yanling, director of the Health Department of the General Logistics Department of the PLA

6.
Wang Jin, deputy director of the First Department (Operations) of the PLA’s General Staff Department (GSD)

Inclusion of the commanders of the PAPF and Tibet Military District reflects the importance accorded to issues relating to border security and cementing of military ties.
China has already started paying age old pensions in Nepal’s poorer northern border areas and establishing a string of Chinese Study Centres along Nepal’s borders with India.

Soon China will also complete extension of the Lhasa-Xigaze railway to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Once this is completed the business between China and Nepal will grow.

This will also create another problem for Indian industry also.
India and Nepal has trade agreement and Goods from Nepal come into India on discounted rates.

Now Chinese Companies will send goods to Nepal and using Nepal route the goods will enter into Indian Market.

I am sure China will pay so much money to Nepal, Nepal Army and citizens of Nepal that they will openly start to oppose India same way like Pakistan is doing.

China is rightfully going in right direction towards becoming No. 1 Super power.

Very slowly and stedily the friendship between China and Nepal is growing

Is it not the warning sign for India?

CBI Expenditure Reduced by 9%. Do you think Budget Cut will reduce the performance of CBI by 9%?

CBI Expenditure Reduced by 9%. Do you think Budget Cut will
reduce the performance of CBI by 9%?

Few days back Budget 2011 was announced.
In Budget 2011 what CBI got?
What CBI was awarded by Government?

In Budget 2011 government of India reduced the expenditure of CBI by 9%
CBI was awarded a 9% budget cut.

CBI was allocated only Rs318.28 crore as opposed to Rs350.14 crore last year.
The amount was allocated for establishment-related expenditure of CBI.

Currently CBI is working at half its strength.
The agency has about 6,000 personnel on its rolls and each investigating officer handles around 25-30 cases at any given point.

30% of CBI’s senior posts (20% superintendent of police and 10% sub-inspector posts) were vacant, Last Month Supreme Court directed the government to fill the posts immediately and file an action-taken report within four weeks.

It’s necessary that the budget of CBI should never be reduced it will affect their functioning.

People will say that CBI does not function properly, or do not have conviction rate
Whatever case may be this is not the solution.

Always remember CBI is not independent, it has to work under the Government.

As we have seen that states do not have equal representation, thus do you think it will affect the benefits, policy making of central government?
More members in lower house mean more benefits to that particular state.

Thus India needs to reform this and bring some type of equality among the states in lower house.

DMK withdraws UPA support withdraws Ministers from Centre Cabinet of UPA government

DMK withdraws UPA support withdraws Ministers
from Centre Cabinet of UPA government

In UPA government DMK got 18 Member of Parliament and then Trinamool Congress of Mamta got 19 Member of Parliament members.

The Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) decided to pull out of UPA Government at the Centre and withdrew its ministers from the Cabinet.

The DMK said it will provide only issue-based support to the UPA Government.

The DMK has six ministers in the Union Cabinet. They are:

1.Dayanidhi Maran - Textiles

2.MK Alagiri - Chemicals and Fertlisers

3.SS Palanimanickam - Minister of State, Finance

4.D Napoleon - Minister of State, Social Justice and Empowerment

5.S Jagathrakshakan - Minister of State, Information and Broadcasting

6.S Gandhiselvan - Minister of State, Health and Family Welfare

What is the reason DMK suddenly decided to withdraw support?
Reason 1 – Raja
Reason 2 - TV channel K and daughter shares

Reason 3 – which is officially declared –

DMK offered 60 seats to Congress, but congress demanded 63 seats out of total 234 seats
And they started to fight for 3 more seats.

"The Congress stand surprises us," said DMK supremo M Karuanidhi at the DMK high-level meeting, adding, "We are compelled to suspect that these are all the efforts by Congress to remove us from the UPA. Under these circumstances we have to think whether to continue in the government."

The DMK has signed electoral pacts with five parties involving more than 50 seats:
•KMK - 7 seats

•MMK - 1 seat

•VCK - 10 seats

•PMK - 31 seats

•Indian Union Muslim League - 3 seats

After giving away 60 seats to the Congress, the DMK would be left with just 122 for itself. If it concedes 63, it will be left with 117, just two over the halfway mark in the 234-member house.

On other side AIADMK has tied-up with actor Vijayakant's DMDK and Left parties.

The AIADMK has so far reached agreements for 49 seats with six parties

•DMDK – 41 Seats

•Puthiya Tamizhagham – 2 seats

•MNMK – 3 seats

•Republican Party of India – 1 seat

•All India Forward Bloc – 1 seat

•AIMMK – 1 seat

Government of India has notified the rules and thus now more than 11 million Indians are eligible to vote in these elections.

NRI will not be allowed to vote using Postal Ballot.

The rules make it clear that NRI must be physically present with their passport on the polling day if they want to vote in state elections, in their home city or village.

3. He should be citizen of India.

If NRI fulfills above conditions he can make an application for being registered as a voter, and the passport will decide in which constituency he will be registered. In passport the person’s place of residence is mentioned.

The NRI voters now can submit the application directly or by post to the electoral registration officer of the constituency within which the place of residence is mentioned in the passport.

As per the rules Now NRI can vote, and automatically they get right to stand for elections.
According to the Representation of the People Act, once a person is registered as a voter, he automatically has a right to contest polls also.

In past when Indian citizens did not stay in India , if he goes outside India and stays there more than six months then his name from the voters list was deleted.

But now they can vote in these elections.

Lets see which Non Resident Indian becomes first to vote in these elections.

Who knows any smart Non Resident Indian can stand for Election and I am sure there are chances if he stands for elections he will win that election.

In these elections if he stands then forever his name will be written in the history books.

These include a 300-bed multi specialty hospital, a yoga research centre, a university, an ayurvedic pharmacy, a food park and a cosmetics manufacturing unit.

Swami Ramdev is even reported to have acquired a Scottish isle for about £ 2 million a few years ago to set up a wellness retreat.
According to unconfirmed reports, Patanjali Yogpeeth has also acquired major stakes in the Aastha TV channel.

Ramdev's business empire includes hospitals, wellness centres, colleges, and of course herbal products. His trusts are worth Rs 1,100 Crore (Rs 11 billion).

The 500-acre food park at Haridwar has been set up with an investment of Rs 500 Crore (Rs 5 billion).

Ramdev Baba has been gifted 95 acres of land near Houston in the United States.

As per Baba Ramdev he has never got any land from government of India.

India needs more People like Baba Ramdev who talk about Politics.

Every Indian Saint needs to become like Baba Ramdev, interested in politics and interested in growth of India.

A true saint is one who talks freely and openly about his king.
In democracy Prime Minister and ruling party enjoys the status of King.

Congress should bring the good laws, good amendments then automatically everyone will start to praise the government and ruling party.

Any educated man will say and accept
If compared Baba Ramdev with any politician, Baba Ramdev is superior to any politician of India.

I hope very soon Baba Ramdev and his trust will declare all the properties owned by their trust.

India needs more people like Baba Ramdev, think for a second what Baba Ramdev openly says, we common people can not even dare to say it in public.

So you may or may not like Baba Ramdev, but we have to support him.
For the national cause.
For India.

Now again what will happen,
Our politicians know the trick of divide and rule, now Saints good or bad will start fight with Baba Ramdev and they will not stay united.

Thus power of Saints will get reduced. And who will be beneficiary,
Beneficiary will be a politician and political parties.

We have to support any person who talks about bringing new good laws, new good amendments to our law.

Bring Black money, Make strict laws against corruption, and stop the use of currency notes of 500 and 1000 Indian Rupees

Nothing is wrong in above demands; in past I have also written articles regarding not to use the currency notes of 500 or 1000.

Every Educated person knows whenever black money is found it’s in form of 500 or 1000 Rs. Notes.

The problem is now Baba is talking about forming Political party and he is getting huge support.

Thus everyone is afraid of Baba.

I Hope more and more Babas, Gurus and Sadus and Saints good or bad everyone enters into Politics.

We need to increase competition among politicians and political parties.

Know and Understand Islamic banking System –
Kerala Government Planning to start Islamic Banks in Kerala.

Know and understand Islamic banking.
Easy approach to understand Islamic banking.

What is Islamic banking system?

A banking system which is based on Sharia Muslim law and principles is called as Islamic banking system.

This banking system do not allow to pay interest. Islamic banking system do not allow to invest money in the business which are contrary to Islamic principles and law, the term is harram is used in Islam for this.

Islamic banks currently operate in Muslim community mainly.

The first Islamic bank was started, savings bank based on profit-sharing in the Egyptian
town of Mit Ghamr in 1963.

The first modern commercial Islamic bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, opened its doors in 1975.

The basic principle of Islamic banking is the sharing of profit and loss and the prohibition of riba (usury).

Islamic or Shariah-compliant banking provides and uses financial services and products that Conform to Islamic religious practices and laws, which, in particular, prohibit the payment and receipt of interest at a fixed or predetermined rate.

In practice, this means that instead Of loans, Islamic banks use profit-and-loss sharing arrangements (PLS); purchase and Resale of goods and services, and the provision of services for fees form the basis of Contracts

In an Islamic bank, the rate of return on a deposit is directly dependent on the quality of the Bank’s investment decisions.
If the bank records losses as a result of bad investments, depositors may lose some (or all) of their deposits.
The contractual agreement between depositors and the Islamic banks does not predetermine any rates of return; it only sets the ratio according to which profits
And losses are distributed between the parties to the deposit contract.

Understand the Islamic banking through example:
Suppose Mr John wants a loan to purchase a car or say house and he goes to Islamic bank, then bank will purchase the car and keep the ownership with the car and give that car to
Mr. John .
The ownership remains with the Bank until Mr. John pays the loan amount to the bank. Same rule is applied to nearly everything just they use different names for transactions.
There are no late fees, penalites etc if john is not able to pay on time.

And finally, Islamic banking is restricted to islamically acceptable deals, which exclude
Those involving alcohol, pork, gambling, sex, movies, etc.

When Islamic bank is smaller it works very well as depositors and management of bank
Can watch, monitor every activity very closely.

But when Islamic bank becomes bigger crosses the state borders it becomes very difficult
To monitor.

Current banking system is good but what happened in USA and fallout of all
Economies is a result of greediness of politicians, bankers, executives.

To over this problem there should be international monitoring bank or body which will watch and detect the frauds, greedyness.laziness of banks.

Islamic Banking system is very popular in West Asia and in predominantly Muslim nations such as Malaysia and Indonesia. Leading international banks such as HSBC and Standard & Charted have exclusive Islamic banking windows.

India and Islamic Banking System –

Few weeks back The Kerala High Court dismissed a petition that said an Islamic bank violates the principle of secularism as laid out in India's constitution.
The petition had been filed by former Law Minister Subramanian Swamy.

Just for the Muslim Votes , Kerala Government has decided to start the Islamic Banking in Kerala. The sanction for the Islamic bank comes three months ahead of elections in Kerala. Muslims constitute 25 per cent of Kerala's vote bank

The Congress has not taken a stand on the issue, while the BJP has voiced its opposition.

The Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation will hold 11 per cent stake in the bank.
The bank plans to raise an initial capital of 500 crore rupees from NRIs and will avoid all interest-linked business activities.
It will provide interest-free loans for those looking to start new businesses and small-scale ventures.
It will also invest in the infrastructure sector.
The activities of the bank will be supervised by a Shariah Supervisory Board which will include Islamic scholars.

Opening Banks on religious grounds is not good for India.
This will again divide India, Hindu and Muslims population will get divided.

The good thing for India is nothing should be based on religion, caste and creed, every Indian should get as per his family status like reservation or anything.

This is the total wrong doing by politicians I will appeal to Muslims do not vote for such people, demand better schools and collages , good roads etc.

If this Bank is based on Islamic system, then do you think they will follow Islamic punishment of Hand cutting, or stone death in matters of such Bank.

This again proves that India is secular nation on the papers only to fool the world.
Where is democracy and equality?
