Who was Sadiq Batcha?
Batcha was the Managing Director of a real estate company Green House Promoters
Sadiq Batcha was a close assistant of former telecom minister A. Raja.
Sadiq Batcha was a sari seller but later he became the right hand of A Raja.
He was 47 year old, few sites mentioned his age as 37.


Batcha was the managing director of Green House promoters.

CBI believed that this Green House company was a front for A Raja where possibly the bribe money from 2G licenses was routed.

Raja's wife MA Parameshwari was a director in Green House Promoters.
Raja's wife resigned in June 2008
But RP Parameshkumar (Raja's nephew) and A Kaliyaprumal (Raja's brother) continue to be on the directors list.

Batchas Chennai based offices and residence has been raided by the CBI on December 15, 2010
CBI had questioned him in connection with 2G spectrum scam on February 24.

2004 – UPA I A Raja become the Environment Minister then after few weeks
in August 2004 Green House Company started its business with the Capital of Rs. One Lakh only.
And in few years’ company become 600 Crore Rupees Company.

In 2007 A Raja become Telecom Minister after that Green House opened its branch office in Singapore.
CBI was investigating whether Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and Reserve Bank of India guidelines were followed for setting up the foreign office.

On Wednesday, Sadiq Batcha was found dead in his Chennai house.

Police and family think he committed suicide, but is it not possible he was murdered?
Or is it not possible that such a situation was force on him that he has to finish himself?

Anything is possible.

On Wednesday Batcha was supposed to appear before CBI for questioning,
Batcha even book the flight and then suddenly he committed suicide.

It has been reported that CBI wanted to know from Batcha who helped him to route money between India and Singapore.
It is believed that Dawood gang helped him to route money between India and Singapore.

At 1.20 pm he was found hanging in his room by his wife Banu
Batcha's body was found hanging from the ceiling of his Chennai residence on Wednesday afternoon later Apollo hospital doctors declared him 'brought dead'.

Police found the suicide note of Batcha, he wrote that he was embarrassed by CBI raids and has blamed no one for his action.

The Chennai police has sent the body for post mortem to know the exact circumstances of Batcha's death.
The Tamil Nadu government has transferred the death case of Mr. Batcha to the Central Bureau of Investigation

In another development CBI filed its status report in sealed envelope before a bench of justices GS Singhvi and AK Ganguly
The CBI told the Supreme Court while filing a status report in the 2G case that they charge sheet against Raja and two telecom companies will be filed by March 31
CBI told the Supreme Court that it will file the first charge sheet in 2G scam against former Telecom Minister A Raja and others under Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) for cheating and forgery

Now CBI should provide safety to all the witnesses and accused persons otherwise like Aadarsh files one day we will came to know that 2G scam accused vanished.

Supreme Court bench of justices G S Singhvi and A K Ganguly asked Attorney General G E Vahanvati "Whether the first-come-first-served policy was evolved by DoT or TRAI? If not by TRAI, then by DoT? At what stage was it evolved and what was the rationale behind it?" the bench posed the queries to the Attorney General.

Doctor who conducted the postmortem said that Sadiq Batcha died due to asphyxia and his body showed compression of the neck with hanging mark.
Asphyxia means - deficiency of oxygen in the tissue

"We cannot say now whether it was suicide or murder. The report will be ready in two weeks," Dr V Dekal of the Government Royapettah Hospital, where the autopsy was conducted, said.

"The death was caused due to asphyxia but the cause of that cannot be confirmed till the forensic report is received," he said in Chennai , adding that the entire autopsy was videographed.
