Miss Philippines-Earth 2011 Sta. Cruzan in Calapan City Photos

The competition is really on for the next Miss Philippines – Earth 2011. After their swimsuit competition in Calatagan Batangas, the 52 lovely and environment-advocate beauties of Miss Philippines – Earth 2011 paraded in the busy street of Philippines’ Discipline City, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The crowd went wild as the candidates toured the city in their cocktail dresses as they graciously smiled and waved to the spectators who watched them during the activity. Each candidate was accompanied by barangay officials of the said city who carried the beautiful arcs which were specially made for the candidates.

After the Sta. Cruzan, the candidates went at the Sto. Niño Cathedral where they offered flowers and was welcomed by the city’s parish priest. A special banquet was also given to them by the officials of the City Government of Calapan.

The candidates will have a mangrove planting activity in the city and their long gown competition in the evening of April 6, 2011.

Captivating beauties during the Sta. Cruzan were actually the local beauties of Oriental Mindoro and Calapan City like Bb. Pilipinas 2011 finalist Diana Arevalo, Haziel Tizon, Glee-An Antonio, Kareen Mae Atienza, Crissia del Atienza, Michelle Acedera, and Ronalyn Aclan.

Stand-out candidates who wowed the audience were the candidates from the municipalities of Calapan City, Manila, Milaor, San Juan, Tanauan and Cebu.
