AP Government sends team to fix or take over Saibaba trust
Who will be owner of Satya Saibaba Trust?
Andhra Pradesh Government has sent a five-member team to Puttaparthi to find out whether there is a need for the state to take over the affairs of the Satya Sai Central Trust.
The five-member team comprises
1.
principal secretary, finance, L V Subramanyam
2.
principal secretary, health, P V Ramesh
3.
director of medical education Dr Raghu Raju
4.
Osmania General Hospital (OGH) cardiologist Dr Laxman Rao
5.
OGH general physician Dr Bhanu Prasad
The 5 member team will find out whether there is a proper accounting system and spending mechanism in place in the trust.
Or government may take over the Satya Saibaba Trust

9. an airport,
10. an indoor sports stadium
11. sports complex in Puttaparthi.
there are an estimated 1,200 Satya Saibaba centres in over 180 countries running schools and health and cultural centres.
According to income tax department Satya Sai Central Trust is worth more than Rs 40,000 crore.
All donations to the trust receive complete tax exemption.
Every year Satya Saibaba trust receives hundreds of crores of rupees as donations from foreign individuals.
