Sarah Geronimo Kept Mum on Cristine Reyes’ Foul Tweets

The war between Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes has caught media attention. Social networking sites are flooded with comments from supporters of ABS-CBN’s two most bankable stars. This rift actually started from Cristine Reyes’ spicy tweets via “Pilyang Sweet” which apparently draw clues to Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo as the “Idol” and “Drama Princess” who caused her ire. Cristine even lambasted the “Idol” and “Drama Princess” by tweeting that the latter could power-trip any artist from ABS-CBN, referring to an artist who had been removed from a TV program because of the “Drama Princess’s” influence.

Meanwhile, Sarah Geronimo has not yet reacted on this issue. It has been featured in ABS-CBN’s Sunday show, The Buzz and Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN) but Sarah Geronimo remained quiet. It then became more controversial when the hosts of The Buzz, Toni Gonzaga and KC Concepcion, commented that if something is going wrong already, it should have been relayed to Sarah Geronimo personally and not via social networking sites to avoid confusions and further conflicts. The hosts of the show, including Boy Abunda and Charlene Gonzales, ended the discussion of the issue hoping to patch up the glitch between Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes.

A week ago, Sarah's personal assistant and friend Anna Dasig, who's also close to Judy Ann Santos and Sharon Cuneta, reacted on Cristine's tweet and defended Sarah.

However, Cristine quickly responded "Yung alaga mo pagsabihan mo wag ako! Siya nagsimula Hindi ako! Wag siya kamo magbiro ng ganun kung alam nya may pinaparinggan siya! At kapag magpaparinig man o magbibiro make sure it’s true! Kasi alam mo naman na siya ang halos mamatay na sa kakahabol. Di ba?"

With this issue, should Sarah Geronimo remain quiet?
